Miguel A. Salazar is the youngest child of Jaime and Maria Salazar. Growing up in a humble home, his three older sisters and older brother ensured he remained grounded. As the youngest child, Miguel had to calculate every move he made and spoke with purpose. His observant nature allowed him to develop a keen ability to see the world from various perspectives. He also developed a deep admiration for his parents, both self-made entrepreneurs, whose influence has significantly shaped the person he is today.
As a young adult, Miguel studied at the University of Texas at Brownsville, earning a B.S. in Mathematics Education. Shortly thereafter, he embarked on a successful career as a high school math teacher. Teaching became a passion for Miguel, stemming from his desire to help others, which ultimately led him to pursue a legal degree. He thrives on guiding others through uncertain paths, and his teaching experience has honed his ability to communicate effectively. This skill, often lost by many, is something Miguel possesses and will undoubtedly prove invaluable in providing dedicated legal counsel during your legal representation.

The decision to attend Law School was made after thoughtful discussions with his wife, Deisy. It was a challenging choice, especially since it meant relocating 365 miles away with their two young children. After weighing all his options, Miguel decided to enroll in South Texas College of Law, driven by a strong desire to earn a law degree and return to serve the deserving people of The Valley.
STCL is a highly regarded trial law school, focusing primarily on practical approaches to legal representation. Balancing school, work, and family wasn't easy, but after four years of hard work, Miguel graduated and passed the Texas State Bar on his first attempt. This set the stage for him to return to The Valley and pursue his dream of providing relentless representation as a Texas personal injury lawyer for the deserving people of the Rio Grande Valley.
