My Story
I was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, where I learned early on that success comes through hard work, integrity, and treating people with respect. My parents built their businesses from the ground up, and watching their dedication taught me the importance of earning people’s trust rather than expecting it.
Before becoming an attorney, I spent several years as a high school math teacher and coach. Teaching wasn’t just about solving equations—it was about helping students understand difficult concepts, build confidence, and make good decisions. Those same skills continue to shape how I practice law today.
When clients come to me after an accident, they’re often overwhelmed, frustrated, and unsure what to do next. I believe my job is not only to fight for them, but also to guide them through the legal process in a way that is clear, honest, and easy to understand.

Why I Chose Law
Teaching fulfilled my passion for helping others, but I realized I wanted to make an even greater impact during some of the most difficult moments in people’s lives. That realization led to one of the biggest decisions my family has ever made.
My wife, Deisy, and I chose to move our young family 365 miles away so I could attend South Texas College of Law in Houston. It wasn’t an easy decision, but we believed the temporary sacrifice would allow us to return home and build something meaningful for the Rio Grande Valley.
After four years of balancing school, work, and family, I graduated, passed the Texas Bar Exam on my first attempt, and returned home to open the practice I had envisioned from the beginning.

When I’m not practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Deisy, and our three children. Family has always been the foundation of everything I do, and many of my best memories are made simply being together.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking on woodworking projects around the house, where I appreciate the satisfaction of building something with my own hands. I also make time for running and cycling—not just to stay physically healthy, but because they help me clear my mind, stay disciplined, and maintain balance.
Whether I’m with my family, working in the shop, or out on the trail, those moments remind me why I work so hard for the families who trust me with their cases.
